Participants of the 12th International Symposium on Genetics in Aquaculture (ISGA XII) are kindly invited to submit their contributions for the Special Issue (SI) of Aquaculture that will be published after the meeting.

It is our intention that the SI will represent the main achievements in the field presented in the symposium, and help disseminate them to the world aquaculture community. Authors are encouraged to submit their contributions before starting 1st May 2015, using online EES following instructions for this special issue. Select SI: ISGA XII from the Choose Article Type dropdown menu, and proceed as instructed. EES submission for this SI will be closed on 30st September 2015. Guidelines for submission are the usual for guide for authors of the journal Aquaculture.

This special issue is expected to be published no later than 15 months after the symposium.
